SOLAR INVERTOR.
Brief
Re-design the outer casing for an existing solar module with a detachable and easy-to-store controller device.
Story:
The modern and sleek casing, made from 2 main pieces of corrosion and weather proof coated steel, has been designed to live in a range of harsh climate conditions. With the sloped form allowing for water run-off, the indented pattern acts as a heat sink. All control buttons are easily accessible on the front interface and the removable controller can be simply detached and reinstalled via a slide slot.

Scenario.
Outdoor equipment, in particular solar inverters, are often left unattended for long periods. Harsh climates and weather conditions expose these, often expensive, units to high risk of damage, causing unexpected performance failures. With their remote locations, it is necessary that they are easy to access, repair, maintain and setup.
