DISINFECTANT ROBOT.
Brief
Design the complete top module of a disinfection robot unit which can be placed securely onto an AGV (automated guided vehicle).
Story:
With the current pandemic taking place, hygiene and sanitation has become a major concern and focus in public spaces. In order to maintain a high level of sanitation, RV Automation took the initiative to create an automated disinfection module that can mount onto their existing AGV device. The final design is modern, suitable for a wide range of indoor environments and has been built for easy assembly and easy repair.

Scenario.
Personal hygiene and sanitation are important focal points when it comes to human interaction and involvement within public and open spaces. Especially within environments such as gyms, hospitals, airports and schools, spaces can quickly become crowded, increasing the chances of infections spreading, viral transmission and cross-contamination. By disinfecting common contact surfaces before peak usage times, such as walls, table tops, windows and doors, the rate of spread can be drastically reduced and hygiene levels maintained. However, maintaining this level of hygiene in such a large space is both physically tiring and time consuming. The use of a smart automated cleaning system would help achieve this goal.
